Obituary: Steven L. Deal, 74, of Cornelius, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, June 24, 2019, at Whitley's Funeral Home, burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park with military honors. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Monday at Whitley's Funeral Home prior to the service. Steven was born March 8, 1945 in Kannapolis to the late C.M. Deal and Pauline Tesh Deal. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He owned and operated LTC associates. Those left to cherish his memory, two sons David Deal, Joseph Deal, one daughter, Kaly Tisdale (Levi), one grandson, Harvey Tisdale.
