Stephen Allen White

Stephen Allen White, 83, of Greensboro, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Whitestone, a Masonic and Eastern Star Community in Greensboro. He was born on July 19, 1942, in Charlotte to the late Bronnie Little White and Allen White.

Stephen worked for many years with Eastern Airlines. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Marshville, NC. Stephen was active in many Masonic entities; Union Lodge 618, Midland, where he served twice as Past Master; Scottish Rite, Charlotte Valley, York Rite, Charlotte Bodies; Eastern Star, Mizpah Chapter #36. He was a member of Carolina Court #10 Order of the Amaranth, and a dual member of Arrowhead Court #23 Order of the Amaranth, and Marion Gate City #2, White Shrine of Greensboro.

Stephen was preceded in death by his wife, Royce Hatley White in 2017.

Those to cherish his memory include his sister Penelope Bryan and her husband, Jim Bryan; his niece, Angela Bryan; great nieces, Ainsley Hutchison and Finley Hutchison; his step-grandson, Jaxon Bennett; his brother-in-law Gary Hatley; and many cousins and friends.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis with Pastor Marty Griffin officiating.
