Shirley Elaine Anderson, 80, of Kannapolis, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital.
Shirley was born March 26, 1945, in Chautauqua County, New York to the late Paul and Bernice Westley.
She was also preceded in death by husband of 60 years, Donald Leon Anderson.
Survivors include children, Kelly Uhlig (Roger) of Kannapolis, NC, Donald C. Anderson of China Grove, NC, Kathy,(Dan) Anderson, Dale Anderson of Jamestown NY; Grandchildren, Jordan and Leanne Anderson, Stacie and Matt Goodnight, Tyler Anderson, Eric Olson, Jacob Uhlig and Miranda Anderson; Great Grandchildren Daisy, Blake and Jace; and siblings, Lorraine Bell.
Shirley was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and even more proud great grandmother. In her early years she enjoyed school and dances. She was a bookworm competing in spelling contests and many other activities. She enjoyed reading, word games and spending time with her family the most.
