Sherri Lyn Petry

Sherri Lyn Petry, 55, of Harrisburg, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 23, 2025.

Sherri was born and raised in Ohio, she graduated from Hoover High School, and ECPI University where she earned an associate’s degree. She worked as a Medical Assistant for several years.

Sherri was a loving and dedicated mother of three, super Nana to her grandbabies. She enjoyed the beach, going to the mountains, reading her favorite authors like James Patterson and Stephen King. Her most amazing times were with family, and some wonderous trips that her loving husband took her on. They went to places she had never been, and she enjoyed it so much especially the lighthouses she got to visit with him. Memories were made and cherished during those times.

Sherri was preceded in death in 2012 by her mother Brenda Irene Byers.

Left to cherish her memory are, her beloved husband and travel partner Donald Ray Petry, her loving children, Michael and wife Erin, Samantha and husband Jon, Kaitlin and husband Korbin, her dear father Gerald E. Bradley and her step mother Zora, her dear siblings, Jerry Wayne Bradley and wife Lori, Larry Luzader and wife Dee, Steve Luzader and wife Patti, her precious grandchildren, Aden, Alli, Brayden, Bailey and Brantley, she loved them to the moon and back. She was and will continue to be loved and missed dearly.
