Sharon Smith Vaughn

Sharon Smith Vaughn, 70, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Concord, passed away, Monday, November 17, 2025 at her home.

She was born June 24, 1955, in Concord, NC to the late George T. Smith and Mary Louise Marrow Smith.

Sharon worked in the dye room at Cannon Mills/Pillowtex until they closed, she then worked as a security guard/dock master for Bank of America, after retirement she started to enjoy the little things in life, watching the seasons change the flowers in the spring and the leaves changing in the fall. She always made sure her children were taken care of, and she loved her four-legged babies.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Steve Vaughn Sr.

Those left to cherish her memory, sons William Steve Vaughn Jr. (Michelle) of Kannapolis, Eric Shane Chapman (Brandy Hyman) of Kannapolis, William Bryan Vaughn (Carla) of Mount Pleasant, daughter Tamera Lane Vaughn of Kannapolis, Granddaughter Kailee Michelle Chapman, four grandchildren and four Great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
