Obituary: Ruby Lee Utley Johnson, 68, of Concord passed away at Avante of Concord on Thursday, August 17, 2017. Ruby was born on January 9, 1949 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of Mary Ruby Cress Utley and the late William David Utley. In addition to her mother, Ruby is survived by her two daughters; Gwen (Ronald) Dhing and Ashley (Anthony) Aldridge. She also is survived by three grandchildren; Jeff Dhing, Dylan and Aiden Aldridge, a sister, Susie Utley and a brother, David Utley. A service for Mrs. Johnson will be held at a later date. Whitley's Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
