Ronald Keith Beall, 83, of Kannapolis, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at his home.

Ronald was born August 28, 1942, in San Francisco, California, a son of the late Robert and Peggy Beall.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Edith and his brother, Dennis.

Ronald was a carpenter with Local #620 Madison, New Jersey for over 40 years before retiring and moving to North Carolina in 2007. He was also one of the original founding owners of Smoker’s Delight Cigar Store and Lounge in Union, New Jersey.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1961 – 1964 and was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America for over 60 years. Ronald was an ELKS member for 51 years, most recently with Salisbury Lodge #699 and an Honorary Life Member since 2015. He was also a Master Mason for many years.

He is survived by his son, Robert Beall (Shawna) and his daughter, Joy Penk (Richard); grandchildren, Nicholas Gallichio (Arielle), Haley Slate (Mason), Lacey Beall, Ryan Penk, Ronald Beall, and Brandon Beall; and great-grandson, Nicholas Gallichio, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Whitley's Funeral Home, 1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd., Kannapolis, NC 28083.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
