Ricky Dale Wiles, 67, of Kannapolis, Passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026 following a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Ricky was born on July 30, 1958 in Cabarrus County. He was the cherished son of the late Vina Carol Wiles.

An avid golfer, Ricky won many trophies and proudly worked at Corbin Hills Golf Club in Salisbury, where he shared his love of the game with everyone he met. He was fun-loving, outgoing, and never missed a chance to talk sports—especially UNC Tar Heels football, his favorite team.

Above all, Ricky loved his family and treasured time spent with them. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving siblings, Michael Dean Wiles of Tennessee, David Russell Wiles of Tennessee, Larry Wiles (Dawn) of Tennessee, Bobbie Smith (Oscar) of China Grove, and Dobbie Wiles of Granite Falls; Ricky was also blessed with many loving nieces and nephews.
