Richard Earl Brown

Richard Earl Brown, 74, of Concord, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2025.

Richard was born on June 19, 1951, in Cabarrus County. He was a cherished son of the late Roy E. Brown and Helen L. Smith Howard.

He spent his career in education, beginning as a special education teacher and later serving as a principal. He was passionate about helping students learn and grow.

Outside of work, he loved to travel and especially enjoyed shag dancing at the beach.

Those left to cherish his memory include his brother, Ted Brown (Beth); nephews, Matthew Alan Brown (Taylor) and Lucas Aaron Brown (Natalie); and great-nephew, Walker Brown.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
