He enjoyed driving a dump truck at Bonds Gravel for 39 years and retired as a Senior Firefighter on Engine 1 from the Concord Fire Department. Richard was a very loving but hard headed husband, dad, and pop-pops. He loved to fish, hunt, and go camping with his family and close friends. Richard also was a very hard working man that spent countless hours working to provide for his family. When he was not working, he was spending time at the beach, mountains, cruising, at the fire pit with his neighbors, and grilling. There was never a dull moment with Richard's crazy shenanigans and comments.
