Retha Ann Coleman

Retha Ann Coleman, 68, of Concord, NC entered into the gates of heaven on Monday, November 17, 2025, after a brief illness.

She was born March 30, 1957, to the late James L. “Pete” Coleman and Margie Tucker Coleman. A graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School, she attended Western Carolina University. She retired from Assa Abloy (formerly Overhead Door of Charlotte).

She was an active member of Concord ARP Church where she taught Sunday School and was involved in the Women’s Ministry.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Bill Hinson; nephew, Adam Hinson; and special great-niece, McKenzie Hinson. She also leaves many cousins, friends, and church family.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Whitley’s Funeral Home in Kannapolis. The Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Concord ARP Church officiated by Rev. Mark McClamrock. Burial will immediately follow at Oakwood Cemetery, 471 Church Street N., Concord.
