Rebecca "Becky" Furr

Rebecca “Becky” Furr, 84, of Concord, NC, went to be with the Lord on Jul 28, 2026, at Tucker Hospice House with family by her side.

She was born on Nov 9, 1941, in Concord, NC, to the late Vance and Hazel Crayton Furr.

She was a graduate of W. R. Odell School.

Becky worked as a bookkeeper for Overcash Hauling and Grading before retiring. She loved the beach and Christmas was her absolute favorite time of year.

In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her brother, Vance Furr, Jr.; sister, Nancy Stalvey; and grandson, Jonathan Patterson.

Left to cherish Becky's memories are her son, Jody Patterson (Rhonda); daughters, Penny Davis, Pam Edwards, Wendy Patterson, and Jamie Smith (Rob); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of life, officiated by Pastor Keith Navey, will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, Aug 6, 2026, at Eva Drive Baptist Church, 2390 Eva Drive NW Concord, NC. The family will receive friends after the service.
