Rachel Virginia (Helms) Klouse

Rachel Helms Klouse, 86, of Stanley, passed away, March 6, 2023 at her home.
She was born August 25, 1936, in Union County to the late Clifton Helms and Kathleen Morris Helms.
Rachel was a home maker raising six children who she loved so very much, she enjoyed puzzle books, flowers, bird watching (blue jays were her favorite), and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William Klouse, a son, Hawley Klouse, and a daughter, Ginger Klouse, brothers, Howard Helms, Heath Helms, grandson Daniel Allen, and granddaughter Sherry Allen.
Those left to cherish her memory, four children; William Franklin Klouse (Kay), Kathy Kegley (Hal), Edith Allen (Donnie), Billy Klouse, 19 Grandchildren, 26 Great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, sister, Delores Baucom (Tim) daughter in law, Lois Klouse, and her best friend Nancy Kimmel.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
