Phillip Wayne Clement, 85, died Friday, April 3, 2026, at Trinity Oaks Retirement Community, surrounded by his family.
Born March 1, 1941, in Concord, he was a son of Lucy Evelyn Lowrance and Robert Henry Clement, Jr. His twin brother, William Payne Clement, predeceased him.
Raised in Kannapolis, Phillip graduated from Western Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Arts. He worked in industrial chemical sales for 30 years at ChemTreat in Charlotte.
He married Alice McGee Clement on June 17, 1966. Their daughters are Kristin Clement (Brian Trantham), Brett Elizabeth Clement (Warren Keyser), and Stewart Clement (Adam Corriher).
Their grandchildren are Thomas Corriher and Henry Corriher.
The Clements retired to Trinity Oaks in 2023, where they made many new friends.
Phillip enjoyed hunting, fishing, water sports, playing cards, travel, and being in nature.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity Oaks at a later date. Special thanks to Bill Johnson and the Trinity Oaks staff.
