Peggy Sue Calloway

Peggy Sue Calloway, 66, of Salisbury, peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Novant Health Rowan.

Born on August 7, 1959, in Texas, she was the beloved daughter of the late Robert Bruce Calloway and Joyce Hill Calloway.

Peggy dedicated nine years to her work at Sunshine Boutique, where her warm spirit shone brightly. She found joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren, sharing laughter, and creating cherished memories. Music and dancing brought her immense pleasure, as did relaxing and sharing stories on the Gossip Porch with her closest friends. Peggy truly enjoyed basking in the sunlight and embracing the beauty of life.

She is survived by her loving son, Lee Craig (Kimberly), her devoted daughters, Marissa Pierce (Ben) and Maranda (Hayden), and her treasured grandchildren: Ashley, Nathaniel, KayLee Craig, Gabriel, and Noah Duganne. Peggy's life also touched many others, including her dear friends Brenda Abernathy (Ronnie) and Betty “Weezer” Kuntz, along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss her dearly.

A celebration of Peggy's life will be held at a later date, honoring the light she brought into the lives of so many.
