Patricia (Patti) Ann Reeves

Patricia (Patti) Ann Murphy Reeves, 73, of Kannapolis, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 19, 2025 following a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

Patti was born on March 24, 1952 in Miami, Florida. She was a cherished daughter of the late Dave Murphy and Joan Murphy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Murphy.

Patti was a retired Teacher’s Assistant for Cabarrus County Schools. She had previously worked at Kannapolis and Rowan County Schools. She also did childcare in her home. She loved caring for young children.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, John Reeves; sons, Eric and Matthews Reeves; brother, Gary Murphy, and sister, Marilyn Pearce (Craig).

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
