Pamela Sue Dancy, maiden name Litaker, passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 67. She was born on August 31, 1959, in Rowan County.

Pamela worked as a home health aide, a role that reflected her caring nature and her willingness to help others. She was relaxed and easygoing, and she loved socializing with friends. Those who knew her will remember the warmth she brought to everyday life and the steady, welcoming presence she offered to the people around her.

She found joy in life’s simple and meaningful pleasures. Pamela cherished her grandchildren and treasured the time she spent with them. She enjoyed gardening, singing, baking, and she also dearly loved her dog. These interests brought happiness to her days and created lasting memories for those who shared them with her.

Pamela is survived by her daughter, Meggan Moss (Kory); her sister, Janet Jordan (Rick); her grandchildren, Wrenn and Klyde Moss; her aunt, Frances Morrow; and her nephews, Chad Stephens and Chris Griffin. She will be remembered with love by her family and by all who were blessed to know her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Litaker, and her mother, Martha Litaker.

A visitation will be held on September 29, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at First Reformed Church of Landis, 210 North Central Avenue, Landis, NC 28088. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the church. Burial will take place afterward at West Lawn Memorial Park, 1350 South Main Street, China Grove, NC 28023.

Pamela Sue Dancy’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will be deeply missed.
