Nancy Greene Wilson

Nancy Greene Wilson, 84, of Pinehurst, NC; formerly of Kannapolis, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 11, 2025.

Nancy was born on July 7, 1941, in Franklinton, NC, a daughter of the late Frank Greene and Annie Bell Gadd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Miller of Salisbury; and two siblings, Jean Thompson of Salisbury and William “Pete” Greene of Kannapolis.

Nancy had been a resident of Kannapolis since 1959. While living in Kannapolis, she worked at General Time Corporation in Davidson, NC, at Cannon Mills in Kannapolis and at Phillip Morris USA in Concord, from where she retired in 2001. After her retirement, she volunteered for Cabarrus Meals on Wheels for close to twelve years and remained an active member of Shady Brook Baptist Church.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her strength, love and resilience served as the foundation of her family and forged the paths of the generations to follow her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Eric Wilson and Craig Wilson (Beth), all of Pinehurst, NC; one granddaughter, Terica Bair (Jeremiah) and one great granddaughter (Sequoia), all of Friday Harbor, WA; and her sibling, Dexter Greene of Charlotte.

A private graveside service for the family will be held at Carolina Memorial Park.
