Our beloved mother and mawmaw went to her heavenly home 6/16/2026 at the age of 89.
She was the daughter of the late Eulius and Grace Mills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jill Argabright, sister Hazel Irby, brothers, Reuban Mills, Larry Mills and J. Doyce Mills.
Those who remain to cherish her memory are her children Jay Argabright (Sheri), Mark Argabright (Tanya) and daughter Vickie Beach (Jamie). Grandchildren Craig Argabright (Donna) , Amber Troglin (Billy), Jessica Sechler (Tyler), Katie Moore (Brandon), Brady Argabright (Haley), Lane Argabright (Alexis) and Chase Argabright (Raven), great grandchildren Paisley, Barrett and Noah Sechler, Walker Moore, Wylder and Tucker Argabright, Georgia Troglin ,Nova Argabright. She is also survived by her sister Sylvia Teague.
She attended Cannon school and went on to work and retired from Hoest Celense in Salisbury. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother. In her retirement she enjoyed bowling in a senior league. She looked forward to bowling each week and always was excited to tell her family how well she did.
One of her greatest joys in life was being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, showering them with love and affection. They meant the world to her, and nothing made her smile more than being surrounded by the family she loved so deeply. The memories they shared together will remain a treasured gift for generations to come.
The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Whitley's Funeral Home in Kannapolis. The funeral service will begin following the visitation at 11:00am in the chapel with Rev. Tommy Dollinger. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Atrium hospice of Cabarrus County.
