Mitchell Eugene Miller, 56, of China Grove, left this world suddenly to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.

Mitch was born on November 17, 1967 in Cabarrus County. He was a cherished son of the late Leonard Levi Miller and Kathryn Elaine Treece Miller.

Mitch embraced life with a deep love for the outdoors and a talent for fixing things. In his youth, he enjoyed motorcycles and softball.

After a successful career in flooring installation, Mitch fulfilled his entrepreneurial dream by opening his own business. He was a member of Piedmont Baptist Church and cherished his role as a father to his two daughters.

Mitch’s legacy of kindness and craftsmanship will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving daughters, Destiny Michelle Miller and Jessica Elaine Miller; brothers, Sammy Leonard Miller (Meredith) and Bucky Leon Miller (Anne); sister, Tiffany Covington Geib; and a very special nephew, Chandler Covington; Mitch was also blessed with many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 2-4:00pm on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Whitley’s Funeral Home in Kannapolis. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Piedmont Baptist Church in Kannapolis. Internment will immediately follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
