Miriam Serna Neyra, 63, of Kannapolis, NC (formerly Lima, Peru) passed away in her home on January 1, 2025.
Miriam was born on April 14, 1961, in Lima, Peru to Santiago Serna and the late Juanita Neyra. She moved to the United States in 2000 with her son Jose.
Miriam was a loving Mother and Nana. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She always had a smile on her face and loved to be silly.
She leaves behind her son, Jose and wife Laura, and grandchildren, Destiny, Aj, Cj, Nicole, Benjamin, Eli and Jeremiah.
A memorial service will be held at Whitley's funeral home in Kannapolis on Monday, January 6, 2025. Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00 with memorial service immediately following visitation in the chapel.
