Milton Dyson

Milton Dyson, 88, of Santa Fe, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, with his family by his side while staying in Kannapolis, North Carolina. He was born on August 25, 1937, in Pecan Island, Louisiana to the late Ira and Victoria Scott Dyson.

Milton was a retired welder with Boilermakers local 132. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time fixing things he had put off, keeping in touch with friends, and traveling all over the United States.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 26 years, Norma Dyson; his daughter, D’Lisa (Carol) Dyson, his son, Jason Dyson; his two stepdaughters, Leigh (Jeff) Hollman and Lisa (Albert) Williamson; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sister, Andress Broussard, his nephew, Doyle Broussard, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Aaron Dyson and a nephew, Lawrence Broussard.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Central Baptist Church, 1810 Moose Rd, Kannapolis, NC 28083, with Pastor M. Dean Hunter officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Central Baptist Church Capital Fund in Kannapolis.

At a later date, another Memorial Service will be held in TEXAS on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Central Baptist Church, 2855 Greenhouse Rd, Houston, TX 77084.
