Mary Temperance Miller, 84, of Concord/Kannapolis area passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Tucker Hospice House.

She was born in Cabarrus Co. November 27, 1941 to the late Charles Wilson Lentz and Anna Wilbur Horton.

Mary was in housekeeping until her retirement, She loved pets cats, dogs and horses, she also enjoyed tending to her roses and keeping up with the home, she also enjoyed watching and feeding the wild birds, Mary always kept herself looking like she was ready to go anywhere as she always looked beautiful.

She was preceded in death by her brother Bob Lentz, one nephew Bobby Lentz and one Great-Great grandchild.

Those left to cherish her memory, her husband of 34 years Hilton Lonnie Miller, daughter Lorie Beale and her husband Gary, sons James Talbert, Mike Miller and his wife Gina, and Lynn Miller, seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and two Great great grandchildren, also one brother survives Charles Lentz.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Kannapolis First Wesleyan Church with Rev. Scott Wheeler officiating, burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 10-11 AM Saturday at the Church.
