Mary "Jo" Measmer Harstoe

Mary (Jo) Measmer Hartsoe, 93, formerly of Kannapolis, passed away, Monday, September 28, 2026 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.

She was born at home in Concord on August 5, 1933 to the late Garfield Measmer and Sudie Kee Measmer.

Jo was an outstanding mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to bowl and kept an average of 270, she also was a quilter and seamstress she enjoyed making quilts and using just the right fabric to go with her quilt. She will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband Carl F. Hartsoe her siblings Frances Kluttz and her husband Lou, Edna Sherill, Bill Measemer, and David Measmer and his wife Judy.

Those left to cherish her memory, her daughters Adonica (Donnie) Hartsoe Andrews and her husband Keith, Vickie Hartsoe Goodman and her husband Billy, three grandchildren, Dillon Carl Goodman and his wife Melissa, Chelsea Brianna Williams and her husband Blake, and Joshua Ian Andrews, three Great grandchildren, Carly Cassles, Harrison and Forrest Goodman, she is also survived by three sister in laws, Darlene Measmer, Betty Harper and Peggy Smith.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Park with Pastor Tonya Brittain officiating.
