Mary Fletcher Sain

Mary Fletcher Sain, 85, of Landis passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.

She was born June 30, 1940 in Cabarrus Co. to the late Roy Lee Fletcher and Mary Hartsoe Fletcher.

Mary was an Inspector at Cannon Mills for many years, She was on a Clogging Team that she enjoyed, she loved collecting stamps, puzzles, and her cat Penny, she loved camping when she was younger, she was a former member of Charity Baptist Church, for the last 20 years she has spent most of her time with her granddaughter Crystal as they were best friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Andrew Sain in 2004 and an infant great granddaughter, Sophia Sain.

Those left to cherish her memory, her children, Wayne Sain and his wife Sandra, Ann S. Roberts and her husband Sam, Jr., and Terry Sain and his wife Susan, Grandchildren; Andrew Sain and his wife Michele, Joshua Sain and his fiancé Lindz, William Sain and his wife Elizabeth, Sam Roberts III and his wife Erica, Crystal Sain, Great grandchildren Grace and Oliva Sain, Logan and Kylie Roberts and Jesse McGrew.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev R.J. Hammond officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Whitley’s Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to a pet rescue of your choice.
