Mary Hudson Cooper

Mary Ophelia Hudson Cooper, 87, peacefully passed away Monday morning, December 30, 2024, at her home, following a period of declining health. 

 Born January 10, 1937, in Chesterfield County, SC, Mary was a daughter of the late Carl Woodrow Hudson and Ruby Viola Wright Hudson. 

Mary had been a certified nursing assistant for most of her life, providing and care and love to others.  A loving and devoted mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend to many, she will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 pm at Whitley's Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be begin at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, conducted by Pastor Ronnie Brown.
