Marion "Carleen" Freeze

Marion “Carleen” Rogers Freeze, 89, of Landis, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 7, 2025.

Carleen was born on November 11, 1935, in Gaston County. She was a cherished daughter of the late Carl Rogers and Annie Mae Campbell Rogers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Doyce Freeze and her brother, Bill Rogers.

Carleen will be fondly remembered for her love of life’s little pleasures—baking something sweet, reading good books, tackling puzzles, shopping for fun, and enjoying meals out with loved ones. Carleen will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Trina Webster, Tammy Daugherty (Randy), and Chuck Freeze (Deanna); grandchildren, Shannon Fontana (Jay), Ashley Webster (Greg), and Kaci Daugherty; Carleen was also blessed with 4 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am- 11:30am on Monday, August 11, 2025, at Whitley’s Funeral Home in Kannapolis. Burial will be private.
