In Loving Memory of Marie-Therese Dieudonne Laguerre

Marie-Therese Dieudonne Laguerre, 84, of Kannapolis, passed away at her home on September 21, 2025. She was born May 18, 1941, the child of Lucrece and Andre Laguerre. She joins those who preceded her in death, her parents and her siblings Hudson, Joseph, George, Fan Fan and Monette.

Marie was a thoughtful and loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and grandmother. She showcased her love in empowering others to succeed and celebrating their successes, even to others. She was always ready to share a story or photo of what she’d done with others in the family or what others were up to. She was proud of her family and cherished more than anything else her time with them.

Marie is survived by those who will carry on her memory, her son Clark, her grandchildren Clark Jr., Carl, Danicka, and Darla, as well as her siblings Michele, Edeline, and Yolande and their children and grandchildren.

A Private mass to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday September 27, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Church in Kannapolis. Committal and burial will be held at Carolina Memorial Park following the services. Repast immediately to follow.
