Maria Kleininger Edge passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 93. She was born on December 28, 1932, in Yugoslavia.

Maria will be remembered as a woman with a spunky and opinionated personality who enjoyed the simple things in life. She liked reading, watching the news, and listening to old country music. She was also known to love a good pedicure. More than anything, she loved her family, with a special devotion to her great-grandchildren. She was deeply supportive and faithful in attending her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s events, never missing one. To those who knew and loved her, she was the heart and soul of the family.

Her life was centered on the people she loved most. She leaves behind her daughters, Deborah Phillips, Donna Simmons (Tony), Irene Drum, Rita Luber, and Betty Piantino. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kristan Davis (William), Leanne Veach (Bin), Bryce Divine, Sean Drum, Stephanie Drum, Page Drum, Mark Luber, and Jacob Rosensky. Her family circle continued to grow through her great-grandchildren, Will Davis, Kyleigh Davis, Noah Wellman, Luke Wellman, Bryson Tyer, Korbyn Divine, Sterlyn Divine, and Harlynn Divine, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Edge. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Lorenz and Franziska Kleininger, and by her siblings, Anna Kleiniger, Peter Kleininger, and Franziska Kaun.

The Family will be holding a private service at a later date.  

Maria Kleininger Edge will be remembered with love for her strength, her steadfast presence, and the deep care she gave to her family throughout her life. Her memory will remain a lasting blessing to all who knew her.
