Obituary: Mrs. Margie Elizabeth Norris, 76, passed away June 19, 2107 after an extended illness. She was born September 12, 1940 in Cabarrus County to James and Sallie McDaniel Edwards. Margie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband James Marvin Norris and a son Mark Fleming. Margie is survived by her son James Scott Green and grandson Jeremy Green both of Kannapolis, N.C. and two great- grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 10:30 A.M. Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis. Online condolences may be left at www.whitleysfuneralhome.com
