Louise W. Clawson, 83, of Kannapolis, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born August 10, 1941, in Alexander County to the late Kermit Alspaugh Warren and Thelma Wike Warren. Louise graduated from A.L. Brown High School in 1959. She attended Business School in Charlotte, NC. She served in various positions at Fieldcrest Cannon. Louise was a member of North Kannapolis Wesleyan Church. Her family and Christian faith were the center of her life. She was a mother and sister to many and a good cook, famous for her red velvet cake.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Clawson, sister Mary Jean “Pat” Warren Coile, brothers David Kermit Warren and Larry Jeen Warren, and grandson Caleb Van Allen Williams.

Those left to cherish her memory include daughters Wendi D. Clawson, Amy C. Williams (Stan), grandson Noah Williams (Rebekah), sister Brenda Dwiggins (Jerry) and sister Kay Parker (Jack) and many nieces and nephews who lovingly referred to her as “Weese.”

Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th at 2pm at North Kannapolis Wesleyan Church with Rev. Joy Garman officiating. Memorials may be made to North Kannapolis Wesleyan Church 312 W 12th St, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
