Lori Ann Hyde Gibson, 62, of Kannapolis passed away Nov. 3, 2021 after a long courageous battle with multiple sclerosis. She was born May 12, 1959 in Rowan County, a daughter of the late Harold and Billie Hyde. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Wayne Gibson and “Buddy” Everett, and sister, Kathy Shimkonis.
Lori had worked as a computer operator for several businesses before retiring due to disability from multiple sclerosis. Lori always had a smile on her face and she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus. In her earlier years, she loved riding horses.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, Nov. 7th at Carolina Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Whitley’s Funeral Home prior from 1:30 to 2:30 PM.
She is survived by her brother, Harold Clayton (Clay) Hyde, Jr., step children, Ray Everett, Allen Everett, Patrick Everett and Joanna Kite.
