Obituary: Lisa Webster Walton 50, of Cleveland, N.C. went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 7, 2018 after an extended illness. She was born March 19, 1968 in Cabarrus County a daughter of Earnest William and Peggy Ann Denton Webster. Lisa enjoyed being with family and friends, spending time at the beach and going to various music concerts. Watching humming birds was a favorite past time and playing with her fur babies was a joy that she cherished. She was preceded in death by her mother, a sister Tamara Webster Little, two special nephews Buck and Scooter Thompson. Family members that will cherish memories of Lisa are her husband, Steven Walton of the home, her daughter, Jennifer White Fortson of Kannapolis, a step daughter, Alesia Walton of Cleveland and a step son, Jesse Walton and wife, Hannah of Mooresville. Two grandchildren, Lindley (Lele) Fortson and Hailey Walton. Two sisters, Rhonda Webster and Robin Thomas both of Kannapolis. Two Brothers, William "Danny" Webster and wife, Karen of Lewisville, N.C. and James Webster of Kannapolis, nieces; Kendall, Kelli, Shelly, Tangie, April, Laura and Jan'ae nephews; Johnny, Brian and Justin and numerous friends she loved like family. The Walton Family will receive friends Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Whitley's Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church, Kannapolis with Rev. R.J. Hammond officiating.
