Linda Kay Leitch McInnis Wilson

Linda Leitch McInnis Wilson, 84, of Albemarle, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025.

Linda was born on November 18, 1941, in Cabarrus County. She was the daughter of the late Vernon Leitch and Josephine Knowles Leitch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother who raised her, Mary Leitch; husband, William Gene Wilson; granddaughter, Kendra Lauren Wilson; and aunt, Melba Pearson.

Linda will be remembered for her love of the beach, country music, and Elvis, as well as her joy in cooking for those she cared about. Her banana pudding was a favorite and will be greatly missed. Linda was a proud fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr. and loved cheering him on.

She loved her dogs, Bailey and Bella, who brought her constant comfort and happiness. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, William Robert McInnis II; daughters, Kellie Laine Mcinnis-Mullis (Thomas), Amy Leith McInnis, Beth Allison Click (Tim); grandchildren, Brent Wilson, Monica Biscardi, and Marissa Biscardi Flowe; great-grandchildren, Veah, Isabella, Allison, and Emily; and cousins, Randy White (Susan) and Teresa Hopkins.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Whitley’s Funeral Home in Kannapolis. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00am. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
