Obituary
Lillian Gibson Ferrell, 85, of Concord, went to be with our heavenly Father on Friday, March 6, 2026, at her home.
Lillian was born April 2, 1940, in Cabarrus County, North Carolina to the late Ralph Honeycutt and the late Ruth Gibson Honeycutt.
She follows her son, Larry Poss and her husband, Jonah B. Ferrell.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Whitley's Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Whitley's Funeral Home in Kannapolis. Burial will take place on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery, 601 Mt. Olivet Road, Kannapolis.
She is survived by three sons, Mr. & Mrs. Avery L. Poss of GA, Mr. & Mrs. Charles A. Poss of NC, and Mr. & Mrs. David W. Poss of NC; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
She gave everything to her children in love and will be sorely missed.
