Larry Thomas Jackson

Larry Thomas Jackson, 61, of Salisbury passed away on Monday April 29, 2024 at his residence.  Larry was born on September 9, 1962 in Union County, North Carolina to the late Jesse Ray Jackson and the late Jo Ann Mullis Jackson.

Larry loved fishing, camping and trips to the beach.  He had a great sense of humor and was better known by his family and friends as “Action Jackson The Legend”, he also loved very much his dog Lucy.

In addition to his parents Larry was preceded in death by his brother Jeffrey Jackson and his sister Vicky Griggs.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters; Lauren Marie Jackson and Maddalynn Summer Rae Deal and her husband Matthew. His brother Tony Jackson, his sister Betty Owens and his furbaby Lucy.

The family will receive friends at Whitley’s Funeral Home on Friday May 3, 2024 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. prior to a Celebration of Larry’s Life beginning at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Whitley’s Funeral Home, 1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd. Kannapolis, NC  28083 with Brother Tony Jackson officiating.  A private family burial will be held at Carolina Memorial Park at a later date.
