Kristopher Garrett Welch, 32, of Landis, North Carolina, passed away on June 21, 2026.

Born on September 13, 1993, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Kristopher lived a life marked by kindness, compassion, and a deep love for his family and faith. He was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ whose spirituality guided his life and inspired those around him. Kristopher had a passion for learning, reading, and seeking a greater understanding of the world and his faith. Those who knew him will remember his generous heart, quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and the genuine love he showed to family, friends, and everyone he encountered.

Kristopher graduated from high school and continued his education through college coursework and technical school studies. He was a lifelong learner who enjoyed expanding his knowledge and sharing meaningful conversations with others.

Above all else, Kristopher loved his family dearly. He is survived by his parents, Kim and Kenny Welch; his brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Allie Welch; his beloved nephew and niece, Griffin and Grace Welch; his stepmother, Paula Welch; his aunt, Sheri Green; and many other cherished family members and close friends who will miss him deeply.

Though his time with us was far too short, Kristopher's impact on the lives of those who loved him will endure forever. His kindness, passion, laughter, and unwavering faith leave behind a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

A private family service will be held at Whitley's Funeral Home in Kannapolis, North Carolina.

The family finds comfort in the words of James 1:12:

"Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him."

Kristopher will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of his family and friends.
