Kenneth "Kenny" Max Yow

Kenneth “Kenny” Max Yow, 59, of concord, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at his home unexpectedly. He was born on April 2, 1966, in Mooresville, North Carolina. A son to the late Larry Yow and Rebecca Cranford Byrd. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, David Yow and mother and father-in-law, Larry and Mildred Mosley, and sisters in law, Michelle Doby & Angel Yow.

Kenny had previously worked in construction where he was a supervisor for many years. He was a member of the VFW Post 8989 in Kannapolis. He enjoyed playing golf, watching football and NASCAR, while spending time with his family especially his new grandson, Jettson Everhart who was his pride and joy.

Kenny’s family will receive friends and family from 3:00 to 5:00 PM on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Whitley’s Funeral home with the service to follow in Whitley’s Chapel at 5:00 PM, which is being officiated by Bennie Hussey.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Meleisa “Lisa” Trotter Yow, and their children, Kyndl Michelle Yow and Holdon David Yow, and Kyndl’s son, his grandson, Jettson Eugene Everhart. His sister, Jean Troutman (Rick), his two brothers, Tony (Mark) Yow (Melissa) and Daryl Yow. Along with many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
