Karen LaDawn Beaver Lowery, 63, passed away on December 25, 2025, at her residence in Faith, North Carolina. Born on January 15, 1962, she was the beloved daughter of Jay Felix Beaver and Bernice Elaine Stamey Beaver.
Karen dearly loved her family and was deeply loved in return. Her relationship with Christ guided her every day. She was a member of Charity Baptist Church in Lexington. A beautiful singer, Karen had a deep love for gospel music and for the Lord Himself. That love lives on through her sons and grandchildren, who inherited her beautiful voice and her heart for worship.
For many years, Karen worked as a nail technician in various salons.
Her eye for detail extended into every part of her life. She took great pride in keeping her home immaculate, her car polished, and every space she touched beautifully arranged. She had a natural talent for interior decorating and a gift for creating warmth wherever she lived.
A wonderful cook, Karen delighted in caring for her family with meals filled with love. She cherished time spent at home, surrounded by the people she loved most. Her life’s greatest joys were her family, her faith, and the simple, meaningful moments that brought them together.
Karen is survived by her sons, Shannon (Crystal) Lowery and Brady (Heather) Lowery; her five grandchildren—Julia, Emiline (Shane), Chandler (Maggie), Lily (Truman), and Isabella (Lane); and her great-grandchildren—Paisley, Maci-Jo, and Rhett, with another precious great-grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her loving mother, Bernice Elaine Beaver; her siblings, Tammy (Randy) Richards, Sandra (Rick) Pruitt, and Randall (Lori) Beaver; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jay Beaver, and her great-granddaughter, Brooke.
Karen’s family will receive relatives and friends for visitation on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 12:00 - 1:00 pm at Whitley’s Funeral Home, 1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd., Kannapolis, NC. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Brady Lowery, her son, officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
Karen leaves behind a legacy of love, beauty, faith, and devotion. Her gentle spirit, her talent, her warmth, and her steadfast love for the Lord will continue to inspire those who knew her. May her memory be a blessing, and may she rest peacefully in His eternal presence.
