Judy Brown Newby

Obituary: Judy Brown Newby, 69, of Concord passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at her home. Our beautiful, loving, and spirited Mama went to be with our Lord. The family will receive friends following the service. A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Whitley's Funeral home. Mrs. Newby was born December 23, 1949 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Fred and Elaine Howard Brown. She is survived by her children, Grady Newby (Shona), Scarlett Lazarus (Kevin), Brandon Newby, grandchildren Jordan, Elijah, Zeke, Kane, and Greyson and sisters, Lana Ross, Kay Ragland, Susan Brown, Anita Brown, Amanda Davis, and Michelle Bullard. She will be dearly missed by all. Memorials in her name may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
