Joseph F. Daniels

Joseph F. Daniels, age 68, of Kannapolis, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at his home.

Born on January 17, 1958, in Cabarrus County, Joseph was the beloved son of Lois Wells Daniels and the late Carl Clinard Daniels.

A proud graduate of South Rowan High School, Class of 1976, Joe served his country honorably as a veteran in the U.S. Navy. He cherished spending time at the Outer Banks fishing and enjoyed visits to his place at Tucker Town Reservoir. Known for his warm hospitality, Joe loved grilling for family and friends and had a passion for baking. He was also a devoted companion to his dog, Shadow.

Joe was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael Daniels and Larry Daniels, and great-nephew Ethan Dejarnette.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Lois Wells Daniels; sister, Dianne Hawfield; nieces, Sharon Fowler (David), Alisa Dejarnette (Bill), Krissy Purser (Josh); nephew, Nathan Stamey (Laura); great-nieces and great-nephews Katelynn Fowler, Matthew Fowler, Lydia Stamey,; as well as several other nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Whitley's Funeral Home.
