Johnny Wesley Cleto

Johnny Wesley Cleto, 31, of Manning, passed away on October 29, 2025.

Johnny was born on November 28, 1993, in South Carolina. He was a cherished son of Edwigis Cleto and Jody Cutter Cleto. Johnny was preceded in death by his grandfather, Randall Cutter, and grandma, Sara Hart.

Johnny loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time on the lake. He was happiest outside or working with his hands, always finding something to do.

Family and friends meant everything to him, and he treasured every moment spent together—whether it was a quiet evening at home or a day out on the water. Johnny had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh.

Johnny will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his parents, Edwigis Cleto and Jody Cutter Cleto; include his children, Ava Cleto his son, Ezekiel Cleto; stepchildren, Alice Ray and Brayden Ray; fiancé, Ashley Griffin and their unborn child; his brother, Christopher Cutter; Johnny was also blessed with many loving cousins and aunts and uncles.

A memorial service to honor Johnny’s life will be held at a later date.
