Johnnie Ray Guinn

Johnnie Ray Guinn passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 21 at his home. He loved the Lord and he faithfully studied the Bible. He was a man who loved everyone and his herd of animals especially his dogs, and his horses. He had a heart of gold and was willing to donate his time and money to the needs of others. His favorite hobby was horseback riding. He was the owner of Guinn’s Grading and Hauling for 45 years.

He was born July 19, 1949, to Johnnie A. Guinn and Cornelia D. Guinn. He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Camden Cohick. He is survived by his children, Melissa F. Harris (Matt), Chris M. Faw (Summer) and Savannah F. Huffman (Kirk); his grandchildren Hayley Hartsell, Chloe Hartsell, Jaxx Harris, McKinley Faw, Marshal Faw, Liberty Huffman, Zander Huffman, Kai Huffman and his great grandchildren Delilah and Luca. He is also survived by his sister, Vickie G. Roach (James); brothers, Nickie T. Guinn, and David A. Guinn (Theresa). He has several special nieces and nephews, Andy Guinn, Lana Guinn, James Roach (Kristina), Matthew G. Roach (Ashley), Shannon G. Young (Brian) and MacKenzie C. Harkey (Hunter).

Visitation will be Friday, February 27 at the Enochville Church of God in Kannapolis from 4-6 pm and the funeral service will be at 6 pm. Burial will be Saturday, February 28 at 10 am at the Herrins Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, NC. 28124.
