Jackie “Tommy” Thomas Henry Jr., 68, of Concord, went into the arms of his heavenly father on Friday, November 7, 2025.
Tommy was born on October 7, 1957, in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. He was a cherished son of Mireille Douglas and the late Jackie Thomas Henry Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ella Henry Fitzsimmons.
Tommy was a man of quiet strength, deep faith, and steady devotion to those around him. For over 50 years, he served as a respected Fire Protection Foreman, earning the admiration of his coworkers.
When he wasn’t working, Tommy enjoyed turkey shoots (with his best buddy, Brandon Barrett), fishing on a calm morning, the excitement of NASCAR, and the fun of go-kart racing.
Though he was a quiet man; Tommy’s presence spoke volumes. He was a loyal and devoted friend. He lived his life guided by his love for the Lord and was washed in the blood of his Savior, Jesus Christ. Tommy lived each day with the assurance of that grace.
Everyone who knew Tommy loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to call him family and friend.
