Obituary: Jack Wingler, 94, of Concord died July 10, 2017. He was born December 15, 1922 in Wilkes County, a son of the late Elijah and Lavina Wingler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Helen Watson Wingler. Jack retired from the NC Dept. of Corrections after many years. He was a veteran of the US Army WW II serving in the Pacific Theater. Funeral services are private. Jack is survived by 2 sons, Richard Jack Wingler and Eric Lynn Wingler, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Whitley's Funeral Home handling arrangements.
