Helen Ann Coggins

Helen Ann Coggins, 80, of Salisbury, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025.
Born on August 8, 1944, Ann dedicated her life to caring for others, both in her personal life and her career. She worked faithfully for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the hospital, where her compassion, strength, and kindness left a lasting impression on those she served.
Ann is survived by her devoted husband, Jim Coggins; her son, Caleb Durham and his wife Linda; and her beloved grandchildren: Brooke Mann, Whitney Linker (Matt), Bryant Durham, Kandis Moore (Justin), and Stephanie Ross. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Brooklyn Mabe, Brilee Skinner, Breighlee Durham, Slade Linker, London Linker, and Amelia Watson, and a great-great-grandmother to Brynnleigh Mabe.
She was preceded in death by her cherished children, Michael Durham and Crystal Ross. Though their loss was deeply felt, Ann continued to be a source of unwavering love and strength to her family. Ann will be remembered for her generous heart, her quiet resilience, and the deep love she had for her family. Her legacy lives on in the lives of those she touched.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14 at 1pm at Tabernacle Baptist Church located at 2515 E Innes St in Salisbury. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is reunited with loved ones in peace and will carry her memory forward with love and gratitude.
