Hazel Jean Crotsley Saintz, 82, of Kannapolis, passed away Friday evening, January 26, 2024, at Atrium Health Cabarrus, following a period of declining health.
Born April 24, 1941, in Blair County, PA, Hazel was a daughter of the late Scott and Hazel “Pearl” Kephart Crotsley. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Marie Park and Dola Drake; brothers, Joe, Chester, Herman and Preston Crotsley; her former husband, Bernard Saintz; and partner, William Gibby.

A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, she will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
Family members left with many cherished memories include her daughter, Avis Munday (Roland); her grandchildren, Melinda Flora (Daniel), Sarah, Samuel and Benjamin Munday; her sister, Alice Horimoto (Harold); numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Private services will be held at a later date.
