Harold Chester Perkins, Jr.

Harold Chester Perkins, Jr., 81, passed away July 29, 2019. He was born June 28, 1938 in Middleboro, MA., a son of the late Harold Chester Perkins, Sr and Emma Louise Perkins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Marcella Baker Perkins, bother, Robert Perkins and sister, Margie Perkins.

Harold was a retired TSgt with the US Air Force where he served 22 years of service. He was also a member of the National Guard for 3 years. After retiring, he worked for the NC Dept of Correction for 20 years.

Family and friends will gather at Whitley’s Funeral Home from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday, August 1, 2019 with a graveside service with military honors will follow at 11:00 AM at Carolina Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Bobby Sutherland.

Harold is survived by sisters, Virginia Nurse, Nancy Pink, Janet Carver, brother, David Perkins, cousins, Judy Therrell (Tony), Peggy Clark, Geynell Altonen, Tony Therrell Jr. (Kathy).
