Gerald "Jerry" Ray Bradley

Gerald “Jerry” Ray Bradley, aged 71, of Concord, North Carolina, passed away on March 2, 2026, at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

Born on May 16, 1954, in New York, Jerry dedicated a significant part of his life to serving his country as a paratrooper and in explosive ordnance disposal with the U.S. Army, enlisting in 1974. After his military service, he transitioned into law enforcement, serving as a police officer for several years before founding Bradley Home Maintenance and Repair.

Jerry was a talented craftsman, known for his exquisite woodworking, including the creation of live edge tables and beautifully turned bowls. Alongside his beloved wife, Deborah, he enjoyed dancing every Friday and Saturday night at the Concord Senior Center. His passions extended to fly fishing, and he held his faith close to his heart as a devoted Christian. His remarkable sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Deborah Bradley; his son, Scott Bradley, and daughter-in-law Kim; and three grandsons, Jacob, Alexander, and Nicholas Bradley, who will cherish his memory forever.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will take place at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel. The service will be officiated by Mitch Thomas and Doug Thomas, with military honors being provided by the U.S. Army.
