Georgia Primavera, 83, of Salisbury, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Kiser Hospice House. Born on August 26, 1942, in Union County, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Medlin and Lydia Bell Manus Medlin.
Georgia devoted over 25 years of her life to serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the W.G. Bill Hefner VA Hospital. Her passion for music found expression in her involvement with the church choir, where she shared her love for singing. A warm-hearted individual, Georgia cherished her pets, enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and found joy in solving crossword puzzles. Above all, she was a loving mother and grandmother, whose legacy continues through her family.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Nicholas Primavera, and her grandson, Randal Eddings. Georgia leaves behind two daughters, Tracey Livengood (Jerry) and Tina Whitesides; a grandson, Chase Whitesides (Aubry); her brother, Eric Medlin (Pam); her sister, Katie Bierlair; and seven cherished fur babies.
A funeral service celebrating Georgia's life will be held at 1:00 PM Friday January 16, 2026 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Michael Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Whitley’s Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kiser Hospice House and Piedmont Baptist Church in Enochville. Online condolences can be left at www.whitleysfuneralhome.com.
Georgia Primavera will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
